Our RCC Kandalgaon is a group of around 25 ladies staying at Kandalgaon.
This year we had the installation of RCC Kandalgaon club at the hands of DCC RCC Rtn. Rajendra Warnolkar on 20Th August 2019 at Kandalgaon. Rajeshri Godbole was installed as the President and Usha Nirmal as secretary.
RCC Kandalgaon had arranged a Zimma-Phugadi competition on 28th September 2019. Around 200 ladies participated in the competition. Gargis were present to judge the competition and give away the prices. All the prices were sponsored by Rotary Club of Gargis. All the Gargis had a fun time with the ladies of RCC Kandalgaon and participated in their Zimma-Phugadi.
A lecture by Smt. Kanchantai Parulekar of Swayamsiddha for the guidance and self-employment for the ladies of Kandalgaon, where in she and her team showed them the art of Candle making, Cooking, Toy making, Rakhee making etc.
We had also sponsored around 10 ladies on 22nd November 2019 at Swayamsiddha for the training in Jewellery making and Bag stitching. This will help them in starting a small business in a group which will enable them to use their idle time and earn some money to support their family.
